Description

Feoffment from Robert Porter of Nether Etyngton' and William Roberdes of Geydon' to John Campyon' of Geydon' and Juliana his wife of a tenement with lands, meadows, pastures, feedings, rents and services belonging to the same, the said tenement lying between the tenement of Richard Rynell' in the tenure of John Andrewe on the west and the common fields of Geydon called Comengrene in Geydon' which tenement the grantors lately held by the gift and feoffment of the said John Campyon'; to hold to the said John and Juliana for their lives from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service and after their deaths to Agnes their daughter and the heirs of the said Agnes by Richard son of John Fulwode of Tonneworth' her husband or in default of such heirs to the rightful heirs of the said John Campyon', to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Geydon' Monday before the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 25 Henry VI. Witnesses: John Furnour of Chadeshunt, Thomas Eyr of the same, Richard Townsende of Geydon', John Andrewe of the same, Thomas Weuer of the same and many others. 1.
