Description

Gift from William Lucas vicar of the church of Esscheby la Souche and Thomas atte Chircheyars of Solyhull' to William son of Thomas atte Chircheyard and Marjorie his wife of all lands and tenements in Hampton' in Ardena except one field called le Depmor', which lands and tenements the grantors held by the gift of William Walter chaplain for the term of their lives according to a fine made before the King's Justice at York, Michaelmas term 2 Edward III [1328] between the grantors and the said William Walter chaplain; to hold for ever to the said William and Marjorie and their lawful heirs with reversion in default of such issue to the rightful heirs of Thomas atte Chircheyard. Dated at Ouerton' Saucee Tuesday after the feast of the Apostles Philip and James, 14 Edward III.
