Lease with warranty from John Aredon' of Myrydens esqure to William Welar of Foxcote of a half part of a meadow called ye medow lying next to Foxcote, which half part belonged by custom to the farm of Foxcote; to hold for the life of the said William from this date, with sufficient hedgebote ther and elsewhere on the lands of the grantor for hedges and fences to the said half part, rendering annually 40d., 20d. on the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist [24 June] and 20d. on the feast of St Martin in hyeme [4 November] and any other dues due to the king for the said land; the said grantor to have the right of distraint for non-payment or arrears of the said rent 15 days beyond any of the said terms and the right of re-entry for non-payment or arrears of the said rent one year beyond any of the said terms.
