Nuthurst

Description

Grant by Walter le Pech of Nuthurst to William 'called Bissop' and Juliana his wife of one piece of land in Nuthurst extending in length from the vennell called The Lindes as far as the hedge and land of William de la Forde, and in width from the boundary and land of Thomas le Pech to the land called Calwedich with hedges, ditches, headlands, scrub, trees and meadows adjacent, with all other appurtenances to the said land belonging, with all rights [specified] as if held by inheritance, saving the lord's jurisdiction, not to sell or pledge to religious or jews. Paying yearly 6d. sterling at two terms, viz: Annunciation 3d., Michaelmas 3d. Warranty clause. Witnesses: Richard de Folwode, Henry de Nuthurst, Richard Wiltan, William de la Welle, William de la Ford, Adam Clerk, Roger le Pech.
