Nuthurst

Description

Grant by [?] Attropus de Hasting to Henry de Wistanescroft and his heirs, for homage and service, a certain part of his land, namely that which Thomas, son of Milisent holds in Nuthurst and extends between the boundary of Lapworth and Ruecroftestart and between the heath and the water of brodemedue. To hold of chief lord of fee paying annually for all services and exactions 26d. at two terms, viz: 13d. at St. Mary in March and 13d. at Michaelmas. Henry has paid three silver shillings for the grant. Warranty clause. Witnesses: Alan de Morcot, Robert Archer, Ralph de Studley, Ric. de Studley, Ralph de Nuthurst, John son of Alexander, Roger son of Geri, Brice Clerk.
