Nuthurst

Description

Grant by Humphrey Hasting to Henry de Wistanescroft and his heirs, for service and homage, of one virgate and one messuage with appurtenances in Nuthurst, which Richard son of G[ ]ware holds, together with two acres of land lying between Por[t]weia and feldlond towards the heath. And with these a certain "inheg" which lies between the heath and the land of the said Henry. Paying yearly for all services 2s. 8d., only reserving service abroad due for the said virgate, namely at Lady Day 16d. and at Michaelmas 16d. For which grant the said Henry has paid three-and-a-half marks to Humfrey and 12d. to Robert his son and heir. Warranty clause.
