Grant by Henry Smyth, son and heir of William Smyth of Hatton to Roger Smert, esquire, John de Wodelowe, lord of Wodelowe, Thomas Cokkis of Coventry, William Pacwood of Henley in Arden, Thomas Pulton, Simon Felton and John Ive, parker of all that messuage with appurtenances at Esenford which John Smyth, late of Esenford held, and which came to Henry after the death of his father William, brother and heir of Henry. Witnesses: Thomas Archer of Tanworth, Richard Cowerne of the same, Richard Prat of Lapworth, John atte Well of Lapworth, William atte Well of Nuthurst. Dated at Lapworth, Wednesday the eve of the Annunciation, 7 Henry IV.
