Gift with warranty from Henry de Ulehalia to Alexander son of Richard Black (nigri) of an acre of land in Lutlegroveshei measured with the great perch (mensuratam per magnam perticam) which Richard his father held; to hold the same rendering annually 4 pence (2 terms); and for this the said Alexander pays 6 shillings and has become his man. Witnesses: Herbert the chaplain, Herbert son of Dolfin, Mathew his brother, Randolf Norensi, Henry de la Le, Edward 'fabro' and Thomas who wrote the deed. Tag, seal lost.
