Tanworth, Monkspath in

Description

Gift with warranty from John le Archer of Tonewrth' to Geoffrey de Middelmor, for homage and service, for 17 shillings, of two parcels of land from the waste land in Middelmor and Monekespathe in Tonewrth', the one in Middelmor' extending in length from the highway leading from Henl' towards Burmingham as far as the land of Simon de Middelmor, and in width from the land of Walter Herward as far as the road leading towards the church of Tonewrth'; and the one in Monekespathe extending in length from the messuage of Edith de la Litte as far as the road leading towards the church of Solihul and in width from the said road as far as the land of the said Geoffrey and the land of Ralph Page; to hold the same rendering annually 3 pence (2 terms) for all services save the foreign service due on that land. Witnesses: Simon de Manecestre, Nicholas de Svanesdich, Simon de Middelmor, Walter Hereward, Geoffrey Eliis, Roger the clerk and others. Seal on tag, circular in natural wax. A stag passant.
