Declaration by Thomas Greaves of Yardley, Worcs., esquire, to Edmund Ashenhurst of Pensnest, Staffs., gentleman, giving the said Edmund authority to bargain and sell the manor of Sullihull alias Solyhull with the advowson of the church and other rights pertaining to the said manor. Receipt from Edmund Ashenhurst to Sir Simon Archer for £100 in part payment for the property described above. Signed: Edmund Ashenhurst Dated: 14 August 1638 Memorandum that the said £100 was included in an assurance to the said Sir Simon for the receipt of £310 English, paper, 16 x 12 in.
