Description

Agreement between Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth, knight, and John Archer, esquire, his son and heir, of the one part, and Thomas Greaves of Yardley, Worcs., of the other part in consideration of DR37/1/2627 and DR37/1/2633, that the said Sir Simon and John grant to the said Thomas 40 couple of rabbits to be delivered annually at the free warren of the said Sir Simon in the manor of Sollihull on demand to the warrener of the same if such rabbits are to be had, upon condition that if the said Thomas or any in his name cause any warren on any part of the waste or commons of Yardley abutting on the warren of Sollihull or hunt for rabbits in the manor of Yardley near the said warren of Sollihull the said grant should be void [DR37/1/2627]; the said Simon to have the right to hunt for rabbits on those bounds and limits of the waste of Yardley which abut on the said warren of Sollihull.
