Description

Gift with warranty from William son of Robert of Holenhall' to Ketellus de Monhull' of 31/2 acres of waste land in Betlesworthe called Lutle Tetlesmos, as it is enclosed by a hedge and a ditch; to hold the same to the said Ketellus, his heirs and assigns, except monks, with common of pasture in places where freemen enjoy the same, rendering annually 12 pence (2 terms) for all services save the payment of scutage and suit of court at Betlesworthe; and for this the said Ketellus gives 9 shillings. Witnesses: John le Archer, Roger de Sidenall', William de Wistanescroft, Roger Jerin, Roger Warner, Simon de Ondelmor, Reginald de la Hethe, Richard Goer the younger, Hugh de Gretee and others.
