Demise with warranty from Henry son of Hugh Chapman of Warrewyk' to John Rodye of Warrewyk' goldsmith of a tenement in the borough of Warrewyk' lying on the high road leading from the church of St. Peter to the church of St. James between the tenement of John Duleye on the one hand and the tenement of Edward Pursere on the other hand in breadth and extending in length from the said road to the land of John Duleye according to its metes and bounds and also 1d. annual rent from the said tenement of the said Edward, which tenement and rent the said Henry held after the death of the said Hugh his father; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, rendering annually to the said Henry 6s. 8d. [2 terms] for the next 40 years from Lady Day next and after the death of the said John Rodye his heirs to render annually 6 marks [2 terms]; the said Henry to have the right of distraint if the said rent was unpaid or in arrears a fortnight beyond the said terms.
