Description

Demise with warranty from Rose Mountfort, lady of Codbarewe to William Wyston' of Henleie and Constance his wife of a tenement called Baillaysplace, which tenement John Brok' formerly held in Henleie; to hold for the lives of the said William and Constance from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, rendering annually to the said Rose 14s. [2 terms], the said Rose to have right of distraint if the said rent were unpaid or in arrears three weeks beyond any of the said terms and right of re-entry if the said rent were unpaid or in arrears 6 months beyond any of the said terms. Dated at Henleie Sunday before the feast of St. Mark the Evangelist 3 Henry IV. Witnesses: Geoffrey Iue, John Harper, the elder, John Henry, John Barker, William Pakwod', and many others.
