Lease from Andrew Archer of Tanworthe esquire, toWilliam Smythe of the halle ende in Wotten' Wawen' for £10 of a tenement with orchard and garden, two leaseows and a meadow belonging to the same in the halle ende, now in the tenure of the said William Smythe, reserving to the said Andrew Archer all timber and the right of ingress and egress to cut down and carry away the same; to hold from the 2 February last for 21 years, rendering annually to the said Andrew Archer 53s. 4d. [2 terms], the said Andrew having the right of re-entry if the said rent was unpaid or in arrears one month beyond any of the said terms; the said William Smythe to have heybote and fyerbote and sufficient timber for all needful repairs to the said property; the said Andrew to have heriot of the best beast or chattell.
