Deed poll under the seal of John Glover son and heir of John Glover late of Ulnall alias Ownall yeoman recording a conveyance [DR37/1/2885] from the said John Glover the younger to Francis Newbie of Tanworth yeoman for £48 of a tenement with all buildings pertaining to the same in which tenement Edmund Alexander sometimes lived, and also a close containing 11/2 acres in which close the said tenement stands, the said close being in Hall end Greene in Wotton Wawen between the land of Francis Smyth esquire and the land of Francis Throgmorton esquire in breadth and extending in length from Hall end greene to the land between the land of Francis Throgmorton and the road leading to Stratford, and also another tenement in which George Poole once lived and a close containing 3 acres called Hobdich in which close the said last tenement stands, the said close being in Ulnall alias Ownall in breadth between the land of the Praepositus of King's College, Cambridge, and the land of the said Andrew Archer on the west and the lane leading from the gate called Botley gate to the chapel of Ulnall on the east, and extending in length from the said tenement to the lane leading to the land of the said Andrew Archer, and also a meadow called Pynks lying between the said lane and the land of Edward Holliocke in breadth containing 1 acre and now in the tenure of the said George Poole; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service.
