Tanworth, Monkspath in

Description

Quitclaim from Philip de la Wyke late the miller of Kinewarton', with the consent of Gilian son of Simon de Alsieshay his wife, to Geoffrey son of Richard de Middelmor of all his right in a tenement and all the lands which Randolf and Richard once held of Simon de Monekespath', their brother, in Monekespath' in Tanewrth' with the woods, meadows and easements pertaining thereto; to hold the same free from all services save the payment of an annual rent of 2s 4d to the chief lord and foreign service; and for this the said Geoffrey gives 40 shillings. Witnesses: John le Archer of Tanewrth', Richard de Fulwod' of the same, John Wodardo, Simon de Middelmor of the same, Roger Gerin, Walter Herward', Geoffrey Eliis, Roger Fabro of the same, Roger de Forda of Aspl' and others. Two tags, seals lost.
