Lease with warranty from Henry de Le of Taneworth' to William Mallor' of Botteleye of a meadow called le brok medewe, lying above the brook leading to the mill de le and abutting above the pond of the said mill, with ditches, woods and hedges; to hold to the said William Mallor' for his life, but if he should die before 12 years have passed to hold to the heirs named by the said William for the remainder of the said term of 12 years; with reversion to the said Henry. Dated at le Lee in the parish of Taneworth' Thursday on the feast of St. Valentine, 31 Edward son of Henry. Witnesses: Dom John de Lodbrok, John le Archer, Richard de Folwod' Henry de Midenhale, John Wodart', Richard de Asteleye of Olenhale, Robert de Cimiterio of the same and many others. Oval seal of natural wax on tag, 11/2 x 1/2 in. Latin, parchment, 91/2 x 5 in., indented.
