Description

Gift from Richard atte Welle, chaplain, and William his brother to Robert Gerin of Toneworth' and Joanna his daughter of one messuage, one piece of ground and meadowland and one field of land and one meadow called Gorsthull'med with ponds in Toneworth, which tenements except the said land and meadow lie in breadth and in length between the way leading towards Henley and the land of Robert de Crownhal'; to hold to the said Richard and Joanna and the lawful issue of the said Joanna or, if the said Joanna die without such issue, to remain to the rightful heirs of the said Richard for ever, rendering due and customary service to the chief lords of the fee. Dated at Toneworth' xviijth day of the Calends of April 19 Edward III. Witnesses: Henry d' Sydenhale, Robert d' Crowenhal', William d' Folewod' the younger, William Gower and others.
