Description

Demise for the lives of the grantees with reversion to grantors from Richard de Budifford and John de Bustlesham to Robert de Fulwode of Toneworth' and Simon his son of land in Toneworth' which the grantors held by the gift and feoffemnt of the said Robert lying in certain fields called le Marlefeld and la Lone and extending in length from Erleswode towards the road leading from the tenement of Henry de Sydenhale at the church of Toneworth'; to hold the same for the term of their lives rendering annually a rose at the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist and also making due and customary service to the chief lords of the fee; the said lands to revert to the said Richard and John on the death of the said Robert and Simon. Sealing clause. Dated at Toneworth', Tuesday after the feast of St Michael the archangel, 20 Edward III.
