Description

Quitclaim from Robert de Crowenhale to Amice de Sydenhale and Henry de Sydenhale and their heirs of 3 shillings and 8 pence annual rent which the grantor held by gift and feoffment of John de Val; to hold the same for ever, the said Robert to have no right of eviction. Dated at Toneworth', Wednesday after the feast of St Lucy the Virgin, 23 Edward III. Witnesses: Thomas Le Archer, John Elys, William Gower, John Lokyngton', Richard atte Berne and others. White wax circular seal, a shield vairy upon a fesse, 3 arrows pointing downwards. Legend: S' Roberti de Crowenhale. Imperfect. Latin, parchment, 10.25 x 2.75 ins.
