Description

Lease for the lives of the lessees with warranty from John de Folewode of Toneworth' to Thomas de Kyngton and Edith his wife of a croft in Toneworth' as surrounded by hedges and ditches lying inlength between the alnd of the said Thomas and the highway leading from the church of Toneworth towards Monkespath, and in breadth between the said road and the land lately belonging to John de Hethe; to hold for the term of their lives rendering annually to the said John 20 pence [ 2 terms] and rendering alsoon behalf of the said John 2 pence annually [ 2 terms] for the tenement of John de Hethe, in lieu of all services; the said lessor to have right of re-entry and distraint of the said rent was unpaid or in arrears a month beyond any of the said terms.
