Description

Lease with warranty from John Folwode of Toneworth' to Thomas Persones of Lappeworth' of a croft lying between the park of Notehurst on the one hand and land which the said Thomas held of Richard de Montefort on the other, extending in length from the land then held by William Prat of John Folwode as far as the meadow called Brafemedewe, the said Thomas to cut and have 'Vunderwode' and 'Schredinges' in the said croft; to hold for as long as the said John held the manor of Notehurst from the Lady of Notehurst, rendering annually to the said John 2 shillings [ 2 terms] , the said John to have right of distraint if the said rent was not paid. Dated at Notehurst, Sunday on the feast of St Wolfstan the Bishop, 44 Edward III. Witnesses: William Prat the younger, Robert le Warde, Geoffery atte Welle and others.
