Description

Lease for the life of the lessee with warranty from Thomas Larcher of Toneworth' to Thomas atte Berne of Toneworth' of all that close of land, meadow and pasture called le Archersnewelond in Toneworth' as it is enclosed by hedges and ditches; to hold to the said Thomas for the term of his life, rendering annually for the first three years to the lessor one rose on the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist and after the said three years, 20 marks annually if the said lease is still in force. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 1 Richard II. Witnesses: John Fullewode, Henry Sidenhale, John de Creweleye, Thomas Colynes, John atte lee and others.
