Quitclaim with warranty from Thomas Elyot, son and heir of William Elyot, to John Folwode and John his son of all lands, tenements, rents, reversions, services in the vill and fields of Tonworth' and elsewhere in the same parish which the grantor inherited on the death of William Elyot his father; to hold for ever. Dated at Thonworth', Monday before the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 13 Henry IV. Witnesses: Thomas Arch', Thomas Sydenhale, Thomas Waryng', John Densey, Richard Dolfyn and others. Circular seal of black wax on tag. 1.2 in., the letters EE within two intertwined hearts and surmounted by a crown. Endorsed: [16th cent] Eliot. Latin, parchment, 11.25 x 4.75 ins.
