Gift with warranty from John Fullewod' the elder to William Elys, vicar of the church of Toneworth' and Thomas Bray of Ippusley of all lands and tenements with houses, gardens, meadows, woods, pastures and feedings in Toneworth' which formerly belonged to Robert Sydenhale; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Toneworth', Monday before the feast of St Wolstan, 8 Henry V. Witnesses: Thomas Archer, Thomas Sydenhale, Thomas Waryng', Richard Cowerne, Richard Dolfyn and others. Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in., seated figure of the Virgin and Child within a gothic panel with the head and shoulders of an adoring figure in a smaller panel below. Latin, parchment, 10.75 x 4.5 ins.
