Description

Gift with warranty from John Fulwode of Tonneworth' to Richard Fulwode, son of the said John, and Agnes his wife of a messuage and all lands and tenements in Notehurst which John Smyth' of Essenford' formerly held which was then held by Lawrence Blyth of Lapworth'; also a messuage with adjacent garden with all lands, tenements, meadows, pastures and feedings in Tonneworth' called Elyottes which Hugh Lynam, alias Oweyn Lynam, held and one field in Tonworth' called Marham with an adjacent croft, one field in Rodburnlond' in Tonneworth' and 18 pence rent in Vlnehale from a croft called Eyrescroft; to hold to the said Richard and Agnes and their lawful issue for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, or in default of such issue to revert to the said John Fulwode, his heirs and assigns for ever. Dated at Tonneworth', Monday before the feast of St Michael Archangel, 25 Henry VI. Witnesses: Thomas Sydenhale of Tonneworth', William Parker of the same, William Benford of the same, Richard Cole of the same, John Dolphyn of the same and many others. Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in., on a shield a chevron between three mullets.
