Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas Beyneham of Henley in Ardern' to John Norys' esquire and Alice his wife and Thomas Grosewold' of Kenelworth' and the heirs of the said John of one meadow in Toneworth' lying between the land of Richard Archer' on the one hand and the land of the said John Norys of Codbarugh' on the other, and extending in length from the land called Groveshey as far as the land of the said Richard Archer' called le Ruydyng', also 4 selions and 2 butts of arable land called Harelond' in the common field of Toneworth' called le Pyryhull' lying between land called Foxpece in the tenure of Hunphrey Clerkesonne on the one hand and the land of John Norys' on the other, extending in length from the meadow of Richard Archer' at the upper end as far as the aforesaid meadow at the lower end, which said meadow and lands the grantor held by the gift and feoffment of John seall' of Toneworth'; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Toneworth', Monday after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 26 Henry VI.
