Description

Gift with warranty from John Legh' of Bothes esquire and James Hall', rector of the church of Northerden' to Robert Mounteforte esquire of the manor of Monkespath' and also all messuages, burgages, lands and tenements in Bermyngheham or elsewhere in the county of Warr' and also half of the manor of Alderwyghe in the county of Staff', which the grantors held by the gift and feoffment of the said Robert; to hold the same for the term of his life from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, and then to pass to George Bothe, son and heir of William Bothe knight, and Katherine, wife of the said George, daughter of the said Robert, and the lawful issue of the said Katherine, or in default to the said George, his heirs and assigns for ever.
