Conveyance from the Reverend Thomas Boultbee late of Salford Priors but now of Bidford, clerk, and the Reverend Thomas Pownall Boultbee of Park House, Cheltenham, co. Glos., gentleman, to William James Hobbes of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman (reciting a mortgage, dated 24 February 1857, from John Warden to the said Thomas Boultbee and the said Thomas Pownall Boultbee, for £1700, in the repayment of which default had been made) for £250, of a large garden containing 2,700 square yards, 'whereof eighty four yards having a depth of eleven feet and a quarter and a frontage to the Guild Pits of seventy feet and a quarter are situate ... in the borough of Stratford-upon-Avon and two thousand six hundred and sixteen yards adjoining thereto are situate ... in the parish of Old Stratford', and which land, together with a piece sold to William Sabin has been occupied for many years past with the White Lion Hotel and now by the said William James Hobbes.
