Settlement on the marriage of Edward Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton, esquire, to Lady Harriet Anne Ferrars Townshend daughter of the late George Marquis Townshend, being a conveyance by lease and release (lease missing) to George Earl of Macclesfield and Robert Willoughby of Cliff in Kingsbury, esq., (reciting nos. DR 422/12, 28 and 29 and in consideration of the assignment to them of £3061 6s. 10d, £7000 and £2000 to which Lady Harriet Townshend is entitled in part to discharge debts on Edward Ferrers' estates amounting to £8400) of a messuage and lands (201a 1r 17p specified) in Baddesley Clinton in the tenure of Richard Tabberner, a messuage and lands (175a 0r 33p specified) in Baddesley Clinton in the tenure of Mary Fletcher, various coppices in Baddesley Clinton, a messuage and lands (149a 3r 19p) in Rowington and Baddesley Clinton in the tenure of William Wheeler, a messuage and lands (92a 1r 21p specified) in Baddesley Clinton in the tenure of Joseph Wheeler, a messuage and lands (11a 1r 21p specified) in Kingswood in the occupation of John Smith, a messuage and lands (92a 2r 17p specified) in Baddesley Clinton in the tenure of Joseph Newberry, with various freehold lands in Rowington (172a 3r 20p), to hold for the use of Edward Ferrers for life, and then in trust to pay an annuity of £800 for life to Lady Harriet should she survive him, but otherwise to hold for the use of the eldest son of the marriage in tail male and in trust to make provision for younger children.
