Grant of Land: Snitterfield

Description

Grant by Thomas Elmet of Snytefelde [Snitterfield] to Thomas Hoggins, chaplain and John Parker of the same place of one messuage with curtilage adjacent in Snytefelde, situate between the tenement formerly of Walter Malins and the highway and two acres of arable land lying in the fields of Snytefelde also one half acre lying at Hunstonsmor between the land of Roger atte Wer and the lands formerly of William Francis; another half acre lying behind Rowlowe and abutting on to the highway between the land of the aforesaid Roger and the land formerly of Hugh Baschet, another half acre lying above Evermerfurlong over agianst the windmill between the land of the said Roger and the land formerly of William Francis; and another half acre lay over against Fletonhall near to a certain Marlpit between the land of the aforesaid Roger and the land formerly of William Francis to hold the said premises to Thomas Hoggis and John Parker and their heirs for ever paying therefore annually to John Fayrfax and his heirs or assigns annually four pence: at the Feast of the Annunciation two pence and at the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, two pence for all services and demands whatsoever except foreign service which pertains to the King.
