General note: 'Seeing Stratford' was first published in 'Apes and Angels', Methuen, 1928. Printed for the Celandine Press by The Whittington Press in an edition of 200 copies of which 25 are on Camber Sand hand-made paper, the remaining 175 on Zerkall mould-made paper. Plates, printed from pencil drawings, are tipped in Signed on collophon by J.B. Priestley, and by artist Arthur Keene. Copy no.99, accompanied by Celandine Press advertising leaflet Uk-SuSCL Binding Information: Bound in Whittington marbled papers by Smith Settle Company
