"The much admired play, called, Pericles, Prince of Tyre" and "The London prodigal" (caption titles) each have separate pagination and register. A reissue of the edition with imprint "London, printed for Philip Chetwinde, 1663". Leaves A1-2 are cancels, with the portrait on A1r and new title page on A2. The additional plays have been added (second p. 1-20, third 1-100). "Of the seven added plays only Pericles is now seriously considered to have any Shakespearian connection"--Pforzheimer.
