Description

Sash, 1864. A Shakespeare Tercentenary sash, probably made in Coventry, consisting of length of blue silk ribbon and featuring 3 small silk motifs of Holy Trinity, Shakespeare's bust, and the Birthplace, all applied to the sash with small stitches in black thread. Sash is trimmed with a deep multi coloured fringe.
