Description

One of a pair of late seventeenth-century brass candlesticks; ring-turned with slightly concave drip-trays; holes punched in top for cleaning out stubs; high concave base. a) has loose drip-tray and central stem, is generally more worn than b) except for the loose section of stem which may be a renewal; lead plug in base and chip out of edge of base; b) in good condition.
