Description

A mid 16th-century oak joint stool; the rectangular moulded top above an ogee profile-shaped and recessed frieze, the lower edges moulded; raised on octagonal chamfered and double-knopped legs with ogee profile-shaped stretchers, the lower edges moulded; English, c.1550-1575.
