Description

A seventeenth-century stoneware Rhenish bartmannkrug; one handle; light brown glaze; bearded face on neck/shoulder; seal on body with linear decoration and human figure (on horse ?); two sets of three stamped circles on shoulder; banded neck; flat base; some flaws on surface, no chips or flakes.
