Description

A late 16th century cast-iron fire back; semi-circular top with side wings; animal mask at top, double arch with central column and two small side-columns; letter W in left arch, coat of arms (very worn and illegible) in right arch; dated 1585; side pieces scroll-shaped, decorated with bunches of fruit (?); bottom right side completely broken off and missing.
