Cauldron

Description

A 17th century cast iron cauldron; circular with two opposite lug handles; three cast-in feet; rather badly finished off at the join; squat body and flaring rim; chips in rim. Not cast in two halves as was previously recorded. Bearing founder's mark consisting of two vertical lines.
