Downhearth toaster

Description

A 17th/18th century wrought iron toaster; T-shaped stand on three feet, with raised handle which consists of a flat bar of iron with a ring end; on stand is a flat iron plate 31.5 cm x 5 cm, which is fixed on a swivel; on the plate four pairs of concentric semi-circles, set in two lines; radius of inner circle 6cm, outer circle 8.5 cm; back leg of stand slightly curved.
