Costrel
Description
A ceramic costrel; tan material blackened with age or fire, yellow glaze; spherical with short neck and two raised lugs on shoulders each pierced with two holes for suspension and decorated with finger impressions at top; top of jar glazed to bottom of shoulder lugs (6 cm vertical); traces of glaze on underside of base.
