Oak Livery Cupboard

Description

A mid 17th-century oak livery cupboard; the rectangular moulded two-plank top above a frieze carved to front and sides with enriched lunettes; over a tall central panel carved with a vase of flowers and foliage, flanked by cabled muntins and a pair of doors each carved with a lozenge filled with a flower head; raised on turned front legs with a moulded potshelf on moulded rails and raised on turned feet; English, c.1640; the potshelf possibly of later date.
