Pair of backstools

Description

Each stool has a concave cresting-rail above a bulbous splat between plain uprights; the two-plank moulded and tapered seat raised on turned front legs and stretcher, with further plain stretchers and turned front feet; Welsh, c.1750; both seats cracked and one fire-damaged.
