Bolster cover
Description
Bolster cover/pillow case, c. 1600-1700. Bolster cover or pillow case, made from white/cream plain weave linen, with one short side open but with the edges cut away - perhaps to remove a decorative trim. Top side of the cover is decorated with a central band of lace/drawn thread work, with the closed end featuring similar decoration. The reverse is plain.
