Description

A boarded chest with a two-plank lid with moulded edge to front and sides, above a plain nailed carcase; the front lightly incised with the initials WT, above shaped spandrels, the sides extended and shaped to form feet; English, c.1720; lock hasp missing; lower part of left-hand spandrel missing.
