Description

Late 19th/early 20th century doll; plaster head, arms and lower legs; upper body of plaster, lower body stuffed hard with straw; blond human hair; brown glass eyes; integral underwear with lace at neck; fine cotton camisole with mother-of-pearl button and lace at cuffs, knees and neck; cotton underskirt (home-made?); home-made dress, pink cotton with pink flower motif, pink ribbon at waist and cuffs, lace at neck; c. 1900; dress very faded, right hand chipped, face badly damaged (water based paint dissolved and reset).
