Description
Portrait of the Rev. Edward Rice. Oil on canvas. Attributed to the Stratford-upon-Avon artist Edward Grubb (b. c. 1740, d. 1816), about 1760. Rev. Rice was Vicar of Alderminster. He died in 1792, aged 92. Married Susanna Philips of Campden who died in 1763, aged 48.
