Mattress stuffing
Description
Mattress stuffing, c. 1800-1900. A mixture of hand-cut snippets of woven and knitted wool, felt and stockinette, found in corners of mattress bag SBT 1995-1/1, which was on bedstead SBT 1993-31/660 in Anne Hathaway's cottage.
