Wicker basket
Description
Wicker basket, c. 1890-1910. Basket - very fine; oval with stepped-out base; two lift-up lids; central bar as hinge bar; D-shape fixed loop handle. used by Margaret Whately, daughter of Mary Baker, c.1900. Mary Baker was living at Anne Hathaway's Cottage when it was purchased by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in 1892.
